This year, there will once again be a filmmaking workshop during the festival.
We invite university students from Transylvania to participate in the filmmaking workshop led by Ábel Visky. The application deadline is September 22.
“During the workshop, we will create fictional characters based on portraits of participating acting students and explore potential encounter scenarios between them. We will look for situations that bring out deeper, hidden traits of the characters and result in some kind of change in their lives. Based on these situations, we will film improvisational scenes that connect along a jointly determined theme.”
The workshop is open to students from Transylvanian universities preparing to become actors, theater and film directors, cinematographers, screenwriters, or playwrights, as well as those studying other theater and film-related professions (editors, sound engineers, etc.).
The collaborative work will take place in Târgu Mureș from September 27 to 29.
