Director and editor, Juanma graduated in television production, direction and postproduction at Escuela de Cine Metrópolis-ce and CEV, after estudying law.He’s worked on several tv programs and documentaries for TVE, Disney, Movistar+, La Sexta, Telemadrid, Cuatro, Telecinco and Orange TV like Los Felices Veinte, hosted by Nacho Vigalongo. At the present time he Works at Antena 3. As a director, his works include FUERO, the multi-award winning short movie about war, that has been nominated in more than 50 film festivals around the world. His other works include REVENANT, a horror short film nominated in Athens, and ALONE a webseries that premiered in 2017 and nominated in film festivals like Los Angeles, Rome, South Korea, New Jersey, Cinema Jove and Carballo Interplay.His latest works as a director include RÉQUIEM, short film at the Notodofilmfest that won the Fundación Repsol award, nominated in 50 festivals around the world and won in 6 of them, and LET GO, finalist at the Notodofilmfest that won first prize at the RNE Short Film Festival in 2021. He’s recently premiered JAIMITO, EL NIÑO DE LOS CHISTES, a mockumentary about the ups and downs of a fictional comedian.
