Felix, a retired artist, spends his retirement in a village in the mountains of La Rioja (Spain). He is trying to finish his last work: a sculpture born from the dead trunk of an almond tree. The hours pass between his loneliness and his artistic frustrations until, out of nowhere, a little girl appears. Where does she come from, what is her name, what has happened to her? She can't communicate with him. They get to know each other, sharing time, until the artist's loneliness disappears. But, just as the girl had arrived, she leaves. Only there is a difference: the sculpture is finished. When the artist receives Leticia, his eight months pregnant daughter at his home, he understands who is the girl who has visited him...
