Filmmaker and editor Soheila Mousavi, who was born in Iran in 1988, earned a bachelor's degree in cinema in 2012 from Soureh University. She began seriously editing while still studying. She directed her debut short film Bathroom in her second year of college. She assisted notable personalities like Kianoush Ayari in editing various series. Following graduation from the university, she produced, directed, and edited a number of historical documentaries, the most significant of which was a portrait of Dr. Ali Akbar Siasi, the first independent president of Tehran University. She edited multiple TV shows for Iran TV across several networks and edited independently on two fictitious TV series. She worked for Saba's cultural and artistic news agency for over two years as the film secretary. She was in charge of coming up with concepts for the creation of brief news films in the area of art at this time, in addition to directing and editing. Additionally, she has created, directed, and edited a number of advertising teasers and documentaries for hospitals like Razi Hospital and Shariati Hospital.
