The director of an industrial slaughterhouse is suspicious about Maria, the new quality inspector sent by the authorities. Endre thinks she's pretty, but she's too formal and keeps too much to herself. He also thinks she's too tough on grading the beef carcass, but Maria sticks to her standards with the same focused order she tries to run her life. During routine company interviews, a lady psychologist discovers that Maria and Endre are having similar recurring dreams. They are embarrassed by what this implies, as the two introverts know nothing about one another outside of work. The following day, they check again: they had the exact same dream the night before. As they continue to compare dreams, it becomes clear that they meet each night in a common realm: a peaceful snowy forest where they are graceful deer who gently love each other. Maria and Endre hesistantly accept this strange coincidence. They cannot ignore the intimacy they share so effortlessly in their dreams. For two people seemingly not suitable at all for love, it won't be easy to recreate in broad daylight this harmonious relationship of their lonely nights...

Sultry heat, dinginess of a small town, unspoken social problems, hierarchical infighting. It is the town of Tűzkő, somewhere in Hungary, in our days. This is the place where Misi arrives. He has inherited his grandpa’s house and property. Misi is a disillusioned and frustrated young man constantly on the run who does not find his role in life, work and partnership relations.  He sets himself to rebuild the house with some of his pals but that hurts the interests of the local oligarchs. Serious struggle ensues for the land, for love and life. Misi transforms into a coyote in all respects.

The Dead Nation is a documentary-essay, which shows a stunning collection of photographs from a Romanian small town in the 1930's and 1940's. The soundtrack, composed mostly from excerpts taken from the diary of a Jewish doctor from the same era, shows us what the photographs do not: the rising of the anti-Semitism and eventually a harrowing depiction of the Romanian Holocaust, a topic which is not very talked about in the contemporary Romanian society.

The story of five secretive characters, told with Klezmer music. Five 21st century young and not so young men someplace in the world. They are musicians in search for someone and something which might have been born in their imagination. Once upon a time in the beginning of the 20th century there lived a Klezmer musician and storyteller Prince Nazaroff. Many people don’t believe he ever existed, but these five do. They have imagined him, and imagination can be stronger than reality. To this day, Nazaroff lives in them. They can’t except that something could disappear forever. They call themselves ‘The Brothers Nazaroff’. A deeply emotional story told through Klezmer music about identity, emigration, inner emigration, brothers and godbrothers, religion and belief, faith and disbelief. A modern story about our strange world we live in.

Sukhum is the capital of Abkhazia, a tiny, unrecognized republic on the Oriental shores of the Black Sea. On its highest hill lies the domain of a medical institute of research on monkeys, established by the Soviets in the 1920s. The legend states it was meant to create a hybrid between man and ape. This creature never came to life, neither the communist New Man did. Today, men and monkeys are caged in a territory ravaged by war and decades of cruelty, both victims of a failed series of experiments.

Brazilians is an ethno-tale with lots of humour and tears - the chaos begins in the remote village of Acsa, where the local mayor has been urged by the new young priest to allow the Gypsy football team, called the Brazilians, to enter the local football cup. This year, the winning team is to be invited to Rio de Janeiro, thanks to funding from a local millionaire. The championship begins. Events, emotions and anger take the story in all kinds of unpredictable directions until those who finally win, shouldn’t be the winners, and those who find love, shouldn’t be together.

Toma meets Ana while they are both studying literature at university. Ana has a mild neurotic disorder and suffers from panic attacks. Toma follows her to every dark corner she ends up in, he fights his parents when they reject her, he accepts being a father and marries her, he becomes her babysitter, her driver, her everything. Toma appears to be in control of the couple’s relationship, when in fact he just gravitates around a woman he can not understand, pushing his endurance to the limit, trying to save her. When Ana overcomes her fears and adapts to the outside world, Toma remains alone, trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together, striving to understand the whirlwind that he has gone through.
