- Patricio Plaza is a filmmaker based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After studying visual arts and audiovisual communication at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, he worked in animation filmmaking for over 15 years. His field of authorial work focuses on political animation, using popular genres such as horror and fantasy to address Latin American historical and political struggles. The short films of which he is author and co-author, have been selected in over 500 festivals and received more than 200 international awards. In 2019 he founded Ojo Raro, a production space with a critical view towards the animation medium aimed to produce animation of popular genres from a South American and queer perspective. "Carne de Dios", the production company's first short film, has been selected in the OfficialCompetition of the Annecy Festival, it has won the award for Best Argentine Short Film at the Mar del Plata Film Festival, the Rigo Mora Award for Best international animated short film at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Award for Best Latin American Short Film at Pixelatl and Chilemonos and the Best Animation Award at la Havana Film Festival, among others. He was also nominated for the AnnieAwards 2024, the most prominent awards in the animation industry, in the Best Short Subject category. His artivist practice also expands to the promotion and dissemination of LGBTIQ animation authors and racialized minorities in Latin America, with support and dissemination programs such as "Voces del Sur" and "Furtive Glances: Femininities and dissidences of Argentine animation." He was curator of the special LGBTIQ animation program "Hidden Desires" in the 2023 edition of the Annecy International Film Festival, France, and has carried out his Master Class "Political Terror in the Latin American Animation" in Mexico, Colombia and Argentina. He received scholarships from the National Fund for the Arts of Argentina, FONCA and the Secretary of Relations Foreign Affairs of Mexico.

- Amidst the mountains somewhere in Mexico during the colonial times, a Spanish Priest who has fallen victim to a strange illness is taken by his native disciple to the hut of an old indigenous shaman. The Curandera will try to cure the Friar performing an ancient ritual which will have unexpected effects in the mind and body of the evangelizer.
