Fernando Tato (Ferrol (A Coruña), Spain, 10/14/1977) is an actor, director, screenwriter and musician. Graduated in Art History at the University of Santiago de Compostela and in Dramatic Art at ESAD in Galicia, he completed his acting training at the Lorena García de las Bayonas studio in Madrid. Fernando combines his acting career (“Pulsaciones”, “Lobos e cordeiros”…) with the creative direction of the Kraken Films collective, where he is in charge of project development, essentially focusing on script and directing tasks. He has directed the webseries “Delicias Amargas” (2021, winner of Mestre Mateo Awards 2023) and “Terapia de” (2022), and the short films “Classmates” (2022), “A Entrevista” (2022), “Fracturas” (2021), “El Jefe” (2019), “Uganda” (2018) and “Selfpain” (2018). As a writer, he has won the XX SGAE Julio Alejandro Award for Best Feature Screenplay and he has also written two feature films, currently in development. “I love you too many times” (original title “Te quiero demasiadas veces”) is his eighth short film as a director.
